Dermal filler injection results are immediate. The results from products like the RHA® Collection of fillers can typically last up to 15 months in wrinkles and folds and 1 year in lipstick lines.

Filler injection helps smooth lines, wrinkles, and folds from inside your skin. Compared to a procedure, the treatment is less invasive with minimal downtime. Filler injection helps restore volume to the skin’s surface by filling in the area where volume and elasticity have been lost over time. Results can last between 1 year and 15 months.

Anti-aging serum is typically an over-the-counter product that is intended to treat wrinkles associated with aging. Commonly applied nightly to the face, serum is focused on hydrating dry skin and promoting collagen formation. Serums are not made to restore lost volume beneath the surface of the skin, but rather help treat issues topically. Most products require daily application and effects can fade if the serum is not applied routinely.

Neurotoxins or neuromodulators (Tox) help reduce frown, forehead, and crow’s feet lines in the upper region of the face. Fillers add volume to help soften and smooth wrinkles and folds in the lower regions of the face.

Before treatment, patients should avoid sun exposure and discontinue using certain skincare products.

During the procedure, you may experience a mild tingling sensation or warmth as the laser energy interacts with your skin, though discomfort is minimal.

After treatment, it’s important to follow post-procedure care instructions provided by your provider.

Patients typically notice improvements in their skin’s appearance within a few sessions, with optimal results achieved over time.

The longevity of results varies depending on individual skin characteristics and the specific concerns being addressed.

Minimal to no downtime, transient side effects such as temporary redness or swelling may occur, but they typically resolve quickly.

Both Daxxify and Xeomin need special care to get the most out of the procedure. Right after your injection, try not to touch or massage the injection areas. Touching or massaging the areas could move the botulinum toxin to another part of your face. This movement can cause unwanted side effects.

It would help if you also avoid exercise and other strenuous work for at least 24 hours after treatment. Like massage, the added movement and sweating can displace your injectable, reducing its impact. Alcohol, sun exposure, and tanning could also cause bruising, so avoid drinking and sun exposure for at least 24 hours as well.

Most tox patients experience no side effects in addition to the bruising and swelling. However, with any procedure, there is an associated risk. These include:

• Muscle weakness or stiffness at the injection site.
• An unknown allergy to botulinum toxin type A
• Headaches, neck pain, or back pain
• Rash, itching, dry eyes, and mouth
• Difficulty swallowing
• Respiratory infections
  

If you notice some strange side effects lasting several days, speak with your provider immediately. Your provider can formulate a plan to reduce the side effects. However, if you're having trouble breathing, speaking, or vision problems, seek emergency help.

We use Xeomin and Daxxify.

The primary reasons we chose these products:

• The most significant difference in Botox vs Xeomin is that Xeomin is formulated to be purely botulinum Type A. This formulation reduces the chances of allergies.
• Botox contains other proteins that can cause allergies.
• Xeomin also had the advantage of being ‘naked,’ meaning it’s formulated to be potent while reducing the chances of unwanted reactions.
• Some studies show that Xeomin can last longer than Botox.

Neurotoxins, like Botox,Daxxify or Xeomin are injectable solutions that temporarily block nerve receptors in the muscle, preventing lines and wrinkles from forming.

They are also used for medical conditions such as: treating muscle stiffness or spasms, excessive sweating, and overactive bladders.

We suggest Xeomin or Daxxify because they don't contain animal proteins and clients typically see results faster than with other neurotoxins on the market.

DAXXIFY® is unique because it is the only formulation that uses a novel peptide as a stabilizer and does not contain human or animal byproducts.

• DAXXIFY® was studied in the largest-ever clinical study for a frown line treatment and included more than 2,800 people across different ages and skin types.

The first and only peptide-powered, FDA-approved frown line treatment with a median duration of 6 months and up to 9 months• for some patients.

Results with DAXXIFY® may be visible as early as the next day after treatment and typically within two days. Due to its longer-lasting properties, DAXXIFY's formula requires more units than other neuromodulators, with a typical ratio of 1:2. For example, if you had 1 unit of Botox, you would need 2 units of Daxxify.

The most common side effects, such as slight swelling or redness around the injection site, were observed in clinical trials within one to two weeks after injection. These side effects are typically minor and resolve within a few hours or days, consistent with other frown line treatments.

Xeomin® sets itself apart with its double-filtered formulation process, containing only the essential components and no additional proteins that may accumulate in your system over time.

Xeomin® has been proven effective in two double-blind, randomized studies and is FDA-approved. These studies involved nearly 550 participants in a placebo-controlled trial, with an average patient age of 46. Xeomin® achieved higher success rates than placebos after 30 days, with 60% and 48% improvement vs. 0% for the placebo in both studies.

With Xeomin, you can expect to see results in as little as one day after treatment, with most patients seeing results within just two days. Many patients actually see quicker results with Xeomin that last longer than Botox.
